Time passes, even for the most powerful defenders. Beards happen.
This weathered variant captures what happens when decades of defending castles and fighting skeletal overlords finally catch up with someone. That mid-length windswept hair now comes with facial hair that says “I’ve been doing this a while, and I’m still here.” The beard and mustache add gravitas and experience to that familiar heroic profile—this is the version that trained the next generation while still being capable of reminding everyone why legends persist.
The beard provides excellent painting depth. Layer browns or grays with lighter highlights to suggest age and wisdom, or keep it matching the hair color for someone who’s aged gracefully. The facial hair texture allows for realistic detailing—individual strands suggested through careful brushwork, or a more stylized approach keeping with that classic aesthetic.
Perfect for aging up your heroic roster, creating “years later” versions of classic champions, or building that grizzled veteran warrior who’s seen it all. Display alongside the clean-shaven version to show character progression across decades.
Still has the power. Just needs reading glasses to find the sword these days. The castle-defending never stops.
